Costco olive oil has earned a reputation for being delicious and high quality.
It is one of the most popular products at Costco, so it’s no surprise that many people are curious about buying and using Costco olive oil.
We prepared this Costco Olive Oil review, especially for you. Read on.
Costco Olive Oil Honest Review
The olive oils sold at Costco have quickly become our go-to choice whenever we desire to prepare a recipe for olive oil.
It is convenient because it can be purchased at Costco throughout the year in any season.
It comes in a wide variety, including pure olive oil and extra virgin olive oil; Costco will most likely provide whatever type you choose.
Quantity & Price Point
We decided to get the olive variety that comes in a set of two bottles. We purchased two bottles for approximately $13.99 each.
The cost at Cosco is excellent when considered, considering how pricey an organic olive oil may be at other supermarkets.
You won’t bother to take a closer look at the price and will immediately add it to your shopping cart.

Intensity & Fruitiness
Bitterness and peppery flavor are signs that healthy polyphenols are present, so give them a try.
The variant we tasted (EVOO) also has a fruity flavor, but “fruity” is a broad term when it comes to olive oil.
“Fruity” can mean green notes like freshly cut grass or tomato leaf or ripe flavors like buttery or nutty.
The Kirkland Signature Extra Virgin Olive Oil sold at Costco is of very high quality, made entirely of Italian ingredients.
It also has a certification from Bureau Veritas, which serves as confirmation that it is a legitimate product.
Their olive oil assortment is of superior quality, and the prices are more affordable than those of competing stores.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil has 120 calories, 14 grams of fat, no cholesterol, and no sodium in one tablespoon.
77% of the fat in extra virgin olive oil comes from monounsaturated fat, which can be more or less depending on the type of olive.
Another 9% comes from polyunsaturated fat, and 14% comes from saturated fat that comes from plants. Kirkland Olive Oil is no doubt healthy.
Certain olive oils, including Kirkland’s pure olive oil, are packaged in plastic, which we do not believe is a good choice given the brand’s reputation.
Kirkland olive oils are available in glass bottles at Costco, but other olive oils are packaged in plastic.
The olive oil selection that Costco has created offers a range of price points and associated product levels, all of which are fantastic buys.
“A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe.”– Thomas Keller, American Chef
Although most of the products available at Costco are extra virgin, their regular “Olive Oil” offering is a fantastic illustration of their supremacy in the market.

Generally, Costco Olive Oil is made of high-quality olives from Italy. It is 100% Italian olives and has a certification label on its bottle.
It costs cheaper than other brands, which makes it more affordable and convinced us to buy it again for our daily meals.
The only concern we saw is that some of the variants’ packaging is made of plastic bottles, which is unideal in making olive oil last longer.
