However, the dilemma starts to pop up when you’re already full, haven’t finished your onion rings, and have become cold and soggy.

4 Steps to Reheat Onion Rings In An Air Fryer
1. Preheat Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer and set it to 160°C or 350°F for 3 to 5 minutes. Preheating the air fryer is a must to help circulate the hot air around the air fryer. 
It helps to cook the onion right away when you add it to the air fryer. So, for the best crispier result, don’t forget to preheat your air fryer first.
Some of the air fryers have a preheat setting; check your manual. If it preheats automatically, you can proceed to the next step.
2. Place the Onion Rings in a Single Layer
In the air fryer basket, layer the onion rings without overlapping them, and if possible, not touching each other. Although the air fryer is smaller than the oven, putting it still in a single layer benefits the result.
Allow an inch or so for hot air to circulate between the onion rings. Not overlapping it will help to cook it more evenly, prevent moisture, and makes onion rings crispier.
3. Cook For 5 Minutes
For a 160°C or 350°F heat setting, you can preheat your onion rings within 5 minutes at minimum. If you want it longer or crispier, you can preheat it for 10 minutes.
When preheating, you can check it and flip it for a 3-minute to 5-minute interval. Flipping the onion rings will help not to turn them into brown or burnt onion rings.
You can open the air fryer too often to check the onion rings. But simultaneous opening and closing of the air fryer might affect the cooking process of the onion rings.
4. Remove and Serve
After the timer has stopped, remove the onion rings from the air fryer. Serve hot and eat it until it’s warm. You might want to finish your onion rings before it gets cold again.
Preheating it again after you reheated it once is not advisable. Onion rings will have a different taste and crispiness if you reheat them for the second time.
