The art in Pallet was commissioned to local artist, Courtney Derrick. Courtney graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Painting & Drawing in 2002. A mother of four, she recently returned to Utah after 8 years in southern California and Las Vegas. Her work is a perfect testament to her talent, and she’s versed in still life, portrait, and landscapes, alike. Each oil painting in our space was inspired by her local surroundings; authentically, the pheasant on our south wall was shot by her brother hours before she painted it.
